Since all Miranda Borg Blomquist jewelry has a raw, unrefined finish, you are welcomed to wear them when taking a swim in the ocean, showering, doing the dishes, taking care of your garden, etc. Because of the raw surface, scratches will not be visible. By following you in your everyday life, the jewelry will also get some natural polishing, keeping it from oxidating.

Oxidation is a natural process in both silver and tinn, that makes the metall darker with time. If your piece of silver jewelry has oxidated, just put some aluminium foil in a bowl, place your jewelry inside it together with some baking soda, and pour boiling water on top. Let it sit for some minutes and your piece of silver jewelry will be like new.

If your piece of tinn jewelry has oxidated, just take of the ribbon and scrub it with some soft soap (såpa), using a regular dish-brush.
